‘Nature in Art’ is a series of classes run at Canterbury Neighbourhood Centre devoted to realistic botanical illustration. In April a select group of students from the classes will be showcasing their talent at the Hawthorn Town Hall Gallery in an exhibition aptly titled ‘Nature in Art’.

The Box Hill Art Group’s 67th Annual Exhibition is an eagerly awaited event for art lovers, artists and non-artists alike. On at the Box Hill Lower Town Hall, it features a wide range of original paintings and drawings.

In celebration of the 80th anniversary of the original film, Nova will be staging the musical written for The Royal Shakespeare Company and derived from the film and Baum’s book. Nova Music Theatre’s production of The Wizard of Oz, which opens at the Whitehorse Theatre on Saturday 26 October, runs until Sunday 10 November. CAMBERWELL Showtime is an annual amateur production by the Scouts and Guides of Boroondara and Yarra (and friends). They perform, write, direct, and organise the whole show as a team. 2019 marks Showtime’s 55th year.
