 SOME OF OUR VOLUNTEERS

1BARRIE HARDING – Burwood Bulletin’s Proofreader. After completing his studies in electrical engineering, Barrie worked in industry in Australia, Germany and Switzerland for 13 years before accepting a position as lecturer at the Caulfield Institute of Technology (since incorporated into Monash University).  Since retiring from full-time employment he continues to offer his services as a volunteer with Scouts Victoria, Neighbourhood Watch and the Burwood Bulletin while being distracted by his wife of 50 years and their three children and eight grandchildren.

1CHRIS GRAY – Magazine Design & Layout; Graphic Artist, Photographer.   A former primary school teacher, Chris has a Diploma in Education (Primary) and a Bachelor of Arts (Media Studies). He runs his own business – Pacific Ensign Imaging. Self-taught in Adobe InDesign and with a keen eye for layout and design, Chris has done our issues since #135 of summer 2014-2015.

 

3RICHARD DALY, A.P.M. – Treasurer. Former Chief Inspector of the Victoria Police, and recipient of the Australian Police Medal, Richard keeps busy in retirement through a variety of volunteer work including committee membership of the Balnarring Picnic Racing Club, the Balnarring Historical Society, as well as the important role of Burwood Bulletin‘s Treasurer.
